Cook Out Submits Plans For Skibo Road Location in Fayetteville
Get ready for more chances at trays and milkshakes, because Cook Out has submitted plans for a proposed location on Skibo Road in Fayetteville.
According to the Cumberland County Development Review site, plans have been submitted to revamp the former Boston Market location at 1909 Skibo Road into a location of the fast food chain Cook Out.
The Development Review was assigned by Cumberland County on March 20, 2024. The plan shows keeping the existing building that Boston Market held, but adding a dual drive-thru lane setup similar to the Ramsey Street location.
Currently, the property shows as being owned by “Net, Lease Funding 2005 LP,” a business name associated with Boston Market locations. Meanwhile, Cook Out owns all of the locations the current three Fayetteville locations sit on.
Other Cook Out Locations Coming?
Cook Out also purchased the land at 3416 N. Main Street in Hope Mills in July of 2021, where the Country Fish Fry had been. No plans are registered on Development Review for that location.
The company also purchased the land at 3002 Raeford Road, where KFC used to be near Tallywood around that same time. No plans are registered for that location yet, either.
It should be noted that not all plans submitted come to fruition.
The chain is based in Thomasville, North Carolina, and has locations on Ramsey Street, Cliffdale Road and Raeford Road currently.
