The English-Albanian rising pop superstar’s new ’70s-inspired psychedelia album delivered on the hype that she has been teasing for months. Taking to social media, Dua, 28, wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “RADICAL OPTIMISM IS YOURS!!! grateful beyond belief for what this album has gifted me during the time of writing and i’m so happy/relieved/excited/nervous/crying/fizzing it’s finally yours. I love you and thank you for all the support every step of the way [heart emoji].”
The singer/dancer/songwriter provided a photo of a very long thank you letter. In it, she discusses how she discovered the meaning behind “radical optimism” and how it changed her view of life.
On Instagram, she provided more slides in celebration of her new tunes. Collaborator Kevin Parker from psych-rock band Tame Impala is featured in both posts working with her in the studio alongside the rest of her small group of songwriting collaborators.
