Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ Tour Reportedly Scheduled For 2023
It’s been two months since Beyoncé released her seventh studio album Renaissance. To date, no music videos have been released for the project and the pop star herself has not promoted the album that has made fans “wiggle” all summer. And maybe that’s because fans will finally get see Queen Bey on tour, according to a report by PageSix.
Citing multiple insider sources, the outlet reports that the star is already booking out stadiums around the world for next summer. If this is the case, this will be Beyoncé’s first live performance since 2017, when she went on the On The Run II tour with Jay-Z for their joint album.
A second source from the outlet teases that an official announcement can be expected in the coming weeks. Beyoncé nor her team has confirmed PageSix’s report.
When Renaissance was released on July 29, the 28-time Grammy winner noted that the album will serve as act one of three parts. She did not specify if the second and third unreleased sections would be videos or tour components. “This three-act project was recorded over three years during the pandemic,” Beyoncé wrote on her website. “A time to be still, but also a time I found to be the most creative.”
“Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving,” she expressed. “My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration.”
Since the release, Beyoncé’s only visual component was a teaser for the first track on Renaissance, “I’m That Girl.”
