Madonna’s Instagram Flagged For Spreading False Coronavirus Information
Madonna has gotten in some trouble with Instagram for recent information that she shared about the coronavirus.
Per the New York Post, the singer posted a video saying that the coronavirus cure “has been found and proven and has been available for months.” She captioned the conspiracy theory, “They would rather let fear control the people and let the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.”
According to the outlet, the clip features Dr. Stella Immanuel, a physician based in Houston, Texas. The Post says Dr. Immanuel is a “major figure in the so-called ‘America’s Frontline Doctors’ video, which has already been removed from major social media platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. In the now-viral video, Dr. Immanuel claimed to have treated 350 coronavirus patients with hydroxychloroquine.”
After the video on Madonna’s account was censored, it appeared blurred and was re-captioned as “False Information.” Instagram then added a link to another page that gives accurate information.

As we reported, Madonna shared on her Instagram page in May that she tested positive for coronavirus antibodies. Before that, she got a lot of attention for the many peculiar “quarantine diaries” videos she was posting on social media.
