Nick Jonas Will Be A Judge on ‘The Voice’ Next Season, Blake Shelton Drags Him
The Jonas Brothers went on The Ellen Degeneres Show yesterday, and Nick Jonas made the official announcement that he will be joining Season 18 of The Voice next year. Nick and Ellen joked back and forth before revealing the big news. Then she showed a clip on Nick’s new co-workers talking to him about joining next season.
“Nick Jonas, how you doin, buddy? I heard that you’re going to be a new coach on The Voice. I’m going to have to look through the rules, because this is my TV show. I’m not sure you’re even old enough to be a coach on The Voice, but I’m certain that you’re gonna get your butt kicked, buddy,” Blake Shelton tells Nick. On Kelly Clarkson’s clip, she tells Nick, “I do definitely feel like the two Texans should team up and form an alliance. I’m just sayin.'” John Legend adds, “Welcome to The Voice. I’ll tell you one thing: our mission is to destroy Blake Shelton.”
After The Ellen Degeneres show, Nick went on Instagram to talk to his fans directly. “Well, the big news is finally out. I’m so excited. Season 18 of The Voice,'” Nick says. “To be joining that crew of amazing coaches, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Blake Shelton. While I’m excited to work with you guys, I’m comin’ for ya.”
