Boy George Has “Diva Moment,” Walks Off Set of ‘The Voice Australia’
eBoy George is one of the coaches on season eight of The Voice Australia and he’s proving to bring as much excitement to the show as the contestants.
George asked contestant Daniel Shaw, for whom he spun his chair around, whether he played guitar. Shaw responded with, “I can play guitar, but no one really cares if I play guitar.” Put off by the answer, George responded, “No one cares? I do. I think after that comment, go with [coach] Delta [Goodrem.] ‘No one cares if I play guitar’? It’s a weird thing to say,” and then walked off the set.
Fortunately, all was resolved soon after with George saying, “I just misheard what was said, and I just went, you know when you go in the moment? I am kind of fine now and I’m a bit embarrassed. I’m cool, I’m not annoyed, I was just annoyed in the moment. I’ve got to go and find somewhere not to be embarrassed. I’ll have to be tied to my seat. I had a string of nos, and I had a bit of a diva moment. Sometimes you just care too much, and I don’t think that’s a bad thing.”
No, it certainly isn’t a bad thing, especially when it can lead to drama like this!
