Astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin blasted of the Moon surface in the Apollo 11 Lunar Module and re-docked with the Moon-orbiting Apollo 11 Command Module in preparation for return to Earth - AND the Beatles started work on the John Lennon song 'Come Together' at Abbey Road studios in London.

George Carlin was charged with disorderly conduct and profanity after he used the "Seven Dirty Words" during a show in Milwaukee. The U.S. Supreme Court later decided the original "Seven Dirty Words" that cannot appear during "Save Haven" hours on public airwaves.

Performing at a Club MTV tour stop in Bristol, Connecticut, Milli Vanilli's tracks go awry. While trying to lip-synch their song "Girl You Know It's True," the line "girl you know it's..." repeats over and over, the duo panic and scurry off stage. Later, it is revealed that they didn't actually sing on their own album. Pretty fraudulent for an award-winning song.

She said she was attacked in July 2008 after he asked her to come to his Vegas hotel room to fix his television - AND Brad Paisley performs at the White House, where he plays his new song, "Welcome to the Future," which was inspired by the election of President Barack Obama.
