After eleven seasons, The Walking Dead has come to an end. But of course, the story still continues, thanks to a number of already announced spinoffs. The show's first spinoff, Fear The Walking Dead has been renewed for season eight, due to return in 2023.  There's also Tales of the Walking Dead, an anthology series of one-off episodes that take place in the world of The Walking Dead. They have yet to announce a second season, but it seems likely to be renewed. If it is, the show can give us one-off episodes featuring some of our favorite characters. There are also three spinoffs that have been announced. We'll discuss them below... and we'll note here that if you continue on, you'll hit spoilers.  So if you have not yet watched the finale, bookmark this page and come back.

OK, you've been warned!

Pamela Milton (Laila Robins)

The last "big bad" of the series looked like she was willing to meet her end. She's not getting off that easily, though. The former leader of the Commonwealth is now sitting in a cell in that same Commonwealth.

Connie (Laruen Ridloff) and Kelly (Angel Theory)

Connie and Kelly are good, living in the revamped Commonwealth. Connie, of course, is working as a reporter, to keep the new leadership honest. A reminder that all journalists, in all societies, should do the same. Lauren Ridloff has said that she'd love to do a spinoff with Angel Theory's Kelly, although nothing has been announced for her.

Magna (Nadia Hilker)

Magna's good too, and she's reunited with her ex-. We'll get to that in a second.

Aaron (Ross Marquand)

Aaron's also in the Commonwealth, and he's guiding his adopted daughter Lydia (Cassady McClincy) through life as an amputee.

Yumiko (Eleanor Matsuura)

Yumiko and Magda have gotten back together! We imagine that Yumiko will have a hand in helping to lead the new Commonwealth.

Ezekiel (Khary Payton)

He once led the Kingdom, and now he's the Governor of the Commonwealth. Ezekiel has shone through as a good man ever since he was introduced in season seven.

Mercer (Michael James Shaw)

Mercer was one of the final episode's great heroes. He's now helping Ezekilel to lead the new Commonwealth.

Max (Bargot Bingham)

Meanwhile, Mercer's sister Max is now a mom...

Dr. Eugene Porter  (Josh McDermitt)

... and yes, Eugene, the guy who most of us figured would barely survive a few episodes, is alive and well. He's a proud new daddy to daughter, who he named after Rosita.

Father Gabriel Stokes (Seth Gilliam)

Father Gabriel is still alive and well and taking care of Coco.

Judith (Cailey Fleming)

Things weren't looking good for Judith at the end of the second to last episode. Thanks to her always-cool head, she prevailed, saving herself and Daryl. She later revealed to Daryl that her mom, Michone, left their community because she realized that Rick was still alive, and she went to search for him.

Maggie Rhee (Lauren Cohan)

Maggie and Negan had an intense scene: she told him that she could never forgive him for heartlessly murdering her husband Glenn (Steven Yeun). But she acquiesced that he had earned his place in their community. We knew that Maggie would survive: it's been announced that she's going to co-star in a New York-based series, 'The Walking Dead: Dead City"...

Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan)

... and her co-star will be Negan himself. A few years ago, the idea that he would have a redemption arc would have seemed impossible. It's a testament to the show's writers that many fans are actually coming around to him, after his unspeakably cruel actions. 'The Walking Dead: Dead City,' a six-episode series, is set to premiere in April of 2023.

Rosita Espinosa (Christian Serratos)

Our hearts broke. We knew there had to be a big loss this episode. The stakes are always high in this world. When Luke (Dan Fogler) and Jules (Alex Sgambati) died, right after returning, it felt like a reminder that the our favorite characters don't always make it. But they were always support characters. The real heartbreaker was when Rosita revealed to Eugene that she'd been bitten while rescuing Coco. She at least had a last few hours to enjoy life, just as Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) did when he met his end in season 8. This one really hurt. "Rosita" was trending on twitter right after she was gone.

Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride)

We were pretty sure that she would survive, because it was announced a while back that she'd be starring in a spinoff. That deal has since fallen through. But we would't be surprised to see her turn up at some point. No one's arc has been more fascinating than hers: she went from being a battered victim to the community's fiercest warrior.

Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus )

TWD_DAryl-2-scaled-1.jpgPhoto Credit: Jace Downs/AMC

His spinoff was originally supposed to be a Carol/Daryl story, but now he's doing it solo. He leaves the commonwealth on his motorcycle (don't worry, Judith is taking care of Dog) to try to find Michone and Rick. We know that his show, due in 2023, will be shot in Paris and that's where it will take place. When he rode off into the distance, we thought that would be the end. But...

MIchonne (Danai Gurira)

TWD_Mishone-4.jpgPhoto Credit: Eliza Morse/AMC

... then we saw Michone in a Marvel-like bonus scene. She seems to be writing in Rick's old journal, and she's still searching for him (she's been searching for him since she left the series in season 10).

Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln)

And -- holy s***! -- we got a Rick scene, where he's writing a note to Michonne, which we know that she later finds. Rick and Michonne's series is set to debut in 2023.
