Some of the most iconic moments in the sport's history have come on the courses of Pinehurst, including Payne Stewart's iconic 1999 U.S. Open victory. More recently, Michelle Wie, Martin Kaymer, Michael Campbell and a host of others have made history on the courses. The legendary Pinehurst No. 2 is scheduled to host the 2024 U.S. Open.
