COVID-19 Outbreak at Village Green Helps Spike Cumberland County Cases
Cumberland County now has a total of 113 positive cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19), with eight more cases coming since Friday, according to the Cumberland County Department of Public Health.
Six of those eight cases are related to an outbreak at Village Green Health and Rehabilitation Center. Officials said there have been 13 cases so far at the facility, including two deaths. Both deaths were of patients in the facility, while 10 patients, two staff members and one contractor have tested positive overall. The two deaths have already been counted in the six overall in the county.
