Stanley Tumbler Buzz
The everyday versions of these insulated drinking cups have gained internet fame in recent months, with fans expressing their admiration for the product on social media. In a viral TikTok video from November, Danielle showcased the aftermath of her vehicle engulfed in flames, expressing her shock over the Stanley Tumbler’s quality. “Everybody is so concerned if the Stanley spills, but what else? It was in a fire yesterday and still has ice in it,” she remarked, earning over 60 million views.
Now, shoppers are sharing videos of frenzied crowds rushing through stores to secure the limited-edition Stanley Valentine’s Day tumbler exclusive to the retailer.
In a TikTok video by user @victoria_robino_26, a swarm of shoppers can be seen pushing through to grab a cup despite “2 per guest” limit signs, with the entire inventory selling out in less than four minutes.
On X (formerly known as Twitter), a user posted a video showing eager shoppers sprinting toward a display stand stocked with the limited-release tumblers from all angles, including one person who seemed to fall to the ground in the frenzy.
Commenters on these posts chimed in on the intensity of the shoppers’ reactions, questioning the worth of the cups. “They’re nice cups, but I don’t get it,” one wrote, while another simply said, “It’s a cup with a straw!” Some chose to avoid the chaos altogether. “Meanwhile, I ordered mine this morning online,” one commenter shared alongside a laughing emoji.
These coveted cups are now appearing on resale sites, such as Poshmark, for prices of up to $240.
