City Market at the Museum Spring Kick Off

The City Market at the Museum kicks off its 2026 season on Saturday, April 11, at the Fayetteville History Museum. The market runs every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through December, with several vendors available year-round. Shoppers can browse fresh, locally grown vegetables, fruits, eggs, honey, and other farm products, along with plants, flowers, wood crafts, knitted goods, soap, candles, jewelry, and other handcrafted items. A variety of mini-events are planned throughout the season.

Dog Day in the Garden returns to Cape Fear Botanical Garden. The family-friendly event, held in partnership with the Fayetteville Animal Protection Society, welcomes leashed dogs and their owners for an afternoon of activities, including the fan-favorite Dog Pageant, local pet-focused vendors and organizations, and scenic garden walks. No advance tickets are required.
