NASCAR’s 2025 Return To Rockingham Gets Black’s Tire As Entitlement Sponsor
NASCAR is coming back to The Rock this year, and Black’s Tire Service will serve as the entitlement partner for the Black’s Tire 200 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race on April 18, according to a news release from Black’s Tire.
NASCAR returns to historic Rockingham Speedway for Easter Weekend, marking the first race back since 2013. This partnership continues Black’s Tire’s longstanding involvement in American motorsports.
Black’s Tire has deep roots in the region, having been founded in 1929 in Whiteville, as Black’s Service Station.
“We are extremely excited to partner with Track Enterprises when NASCAR returns to Rockingham Speedway,” said Ricky Benton Sr., Owner and Chairman of Black’s Tire Service. “In 2024, Black’s Tire celebrated its 95th anniversary, and we can’t think of a better way to continue the festivities than supporting this historic weekend with the Black’s Tire 200 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race.”
Rockingham Speedway, formerly known as North Carolina Motor Speedway, was a fixture on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule for nearly 40 years. Past winners include stock-car racing icons, and the track holds a special place in NASCAR history.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Black’s Tire as the entitlement partner for the Black’s Tire 200,” said Bob Sargent, President of Track Enterprises. “Black’s Tire is woven into the fabric of North and South Carolina, making this a perfect fit.”
The CRAFTSMAN Truck Series last raced at Rockingham in 2013, with Kyle Larson taking that win, and Kasey Kahne winning in 2012. Current NASCAR stars like Matt Crafton, Ryan Blaney, and Chase Elliott have all competed at the track in the past.
Rick Benton II, President of Black’s Tire, added, “We are honored to team up with Track Enterprises and Rockingham Speedway to bring NASCAR racing back to this historic track.”
The Black’s Tire 200 will air live on FS1 at 5 p.m. EDT on April 18. For ticket and event information, visit RacetheRock.com.
