Win Free McDonald’s Burgers For A Year If You Spot The Hamburglar
BREAKING NEWS: the notorious burger bandit known as the Hamburglar is on the loose, and McDonald’s needs your help to catch him. That’s why they’re offering free McDonald’s burgers for a full year if you try to spot Hamburglar in his new car.
Hamburglar’s latest culinary crime spree is in response to McDonald’s latest improvements to the quality of their burger products, which are being heralded as their, “hottest, juiciest, tastiest burgers yet.” Sadly, it appears this new development was too tasty of a temptation for the beef thief to resist.
Hamburglar was last seen driving in his new getaway vehicle, a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, aptly nicknamed “the Burgercuda.” The thief is believed to be traveling all across the country, and may even appear in your neck of the woods.
A recent news release from McDonald’s provides some useful tips for identifying the Burgercuda. Such identifying features include black-and-white stripes lining the interior and exterior, “bun-like” hubcaps, a spare tire in the shape of a cheeseburger, and the beef fiend’s logo imprinted on the headrests.
In order to bring Hamburglar to justice, McDonald’s is asking their loyal customers to sign up on the website SpotHamburglar.com (cleverly disguised as a sweepstakes to lower his guard). Every entrant will be eligible to win free grub from McDonald’s for an entire year, whether you spot the Burgercuda or not.
However, if you do manage to spot the getaway vehicle, simply scan its code on your phone so you can be further rewarded with an Arch Card along with “hamburger-inspired swag.”
Don’t let the excitement of free food distract you from the urgency of your mission. The Hamburglar has been wreaking havoc on the golden arches for decades now, and must pay for his crimes against hamburger-based humanity.
Lock your doors, keep your head on a swivel, and please…guard your buns.
