Gisele Bündchen Wants Tom Brady to ‘Be Happy’

Gisele Bündchen wants nothing but the best for ex-husband Tom Brady -- even if it seems he's moved on with another supermodel. Rumors of Brady, 45, and Irina Shayk hooking up this summer have been circulated, with photos of the two going home together and partying. A source tells People that Gisele, who recently celebrated her 43rd birthday, "is on holiday in Brazil at the moment and is living her life, but she’s said in the past that she just wants him to be happy."

An insider tells the publication that Brady and Shayk first started talking when they were guests at billionaire art dealer Joe Nahmad's wedding to model Madison Headrick in Italy back in June. Another source says the former NFL quarterback invited Shayk to "fly out and meet up in Los Angeles" and that "they spent the night Friday and Saturday at a house." The source says, "There is an attraction," and though they are just getting together, they "have been in touch for a few weeks," and "there is a spark." Brady was spotted by paparazzi this weekend cozying up with Shayk in his car after they spent the night together.

Since the former couple's divorce nine months ago, rumors of Brady dating Reese Witherspoon and Kim Kardashian circulated. In May, The Kardashians star was looking for a vacation house near Brady's in the Bahamas. However, with the Skims founder, sources told the publication that the two are "just friendly." Witherspoon and Brady also denied the report of them dating in April.

Brady and Bündchen share children Benjamin Rein, 13, and Vivian Lake, 10. Meanwhile, Shayk shares 6-year-old daughter Lea De Seine with Bradley Cooper. She also previously dated soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo and was linked to Kanye West for two months last summer.

Gisele Bündchen is more than Tom Brady's ex-wife. She is a Brazilian supermodel with a heart of gold. Since 2001, she has been one of the highest-paid models in the entire world. In an October 2022 interview with Elle, Gisele told the publication that she's done her part in being there for the New England Patriots quarterback. She said at the time, "I moved to Boston, and I focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up in and to be there supporting him and his dreams. Seeing my children succeed and become the beautiful little humans that they are, seeing him succeed and being fulfilled in his career—it makes me happy. I have a huge list of things that I have to do that I want to do. At 42, I feel more connected with my purpose."

Two years later, she became one of Victoria’s Secret’s famous Angels. In 2004, she appeared in Taxi alongside Queen Latifah and Jimmy Fallon, and two years later, she had a minor role in The Devil Wears Prada.
