Joe Jonas Remembers When He Pooped Himself On Stage

Joe Jonas has a dirty little secret. In a new interview Thursday (July 13), the singer-songwriter revealed an embarrassing -- but memorable -- moment. Joe, 33, was asked to tell "a story you have never told anyone," and he really took on that challenge. He replied that in a recent conversation, the topic of s---ting your pants as an adult was brought up. The Jonas Brother then recalled the last time that happened to him -- which was just four years ago on stage.

Thankfully, he was saved by a rapid outfit change. Joe joked, "It's fresh, but I’ve been able to work through it, a lot of therapy." He continued, "Let’s just say it was a bad day to choose to wear white clothing. You think it might be a little toot, it might’ve been a little something else, a little something extra. So it was like a mid-wardrobe s--- change during the set."

For those who are curious about being able to find footage, Joe says it is in the archives. He then clarified the severity of the pooping. “It was a light one -- it wasn’t a full, so I was able to tell the tale.” He also confirmed that there's probably some footage of him on stage wearing white pants and then suddenly wearing something different.

Joe thought as the whole thing was happening someone would see and notice exactly what was going on. He noted that it was much bigger deal to him than it was to anyone else. He added, "It has happened to many artists. I feel like I’ve paid my dues, and I feel like I’m a part of some secret club now.” As we've previously reported, Ed Sheeran admitted to accidentally pooping his pants on stage. Sheeran said that he farts "all the time" during his performances and once "misjudged a fart on stage, which ended up being a shart." To handle that situation, he remained standing for the rest of the performance, then went home to throw the trousers out.

If you grew up in the 2000s, then you probably remember the Jonas Brothers' music being played on Disney Channel and on their radio station. "Year 3000" was their iconic hit single in 2006 (they still play it!). Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas starred and then starred in Disney Channel's Camp Rock (2008) and its 2010 sequel. They also had their own Disney Channel Television series at the same time, Jonas, which ran for two seasons from 2009-2010.

After a hiatus as a group between 2010 and 2011 to pursue solo projects, the boys reunited in 2012 to record a new album. It was ultimately canceled following their break-up in 2013. Six long years later, the group reunited with the release of “Sucker” in 2019. The song became the band's first number-one song and the first number-one by a boy band on the Billboard Hot 100 chart since 2003's "Bump, Bump, Bump" by B2K. Kevin, Joe, and Nick all got married during this time. Now, all three of the brothers have children with their wives.

With six studio albums under their belt, the Jo Bros are about to embark on their 35-date North American tour from August 12 until October 16. Their newest record, The Album, will be the main feature of their tour, along with songs from their self-titled 2007 album, 2008's A Little Bit Longer, 2009's Lines, Vines and Trying Times, and 2019's Happiness Begins. They don't include their 2006 debut studio album, It's About Time but will be performing their fan-favorite "Year 3000" from the album.

In a recent interview, the Jonas Brothers were asked to rank their six albums. Joe's rankings were: 1. The Album, 2. Happiness Begins, 3. A Little Bit Longer, 4. Jonas Brothers, and 5. Lines, Vines and Trying Times. Nick's choices were similar, ranking The Album as no. 1, A Little Bit Longer in second, Happiness Begins in third, and the fourth and fifth picks are the same as Joe's. Kevin's choices were completely different, besides everyone ranking The Album as the top spot and Jonas Brothers coming in second. His full answer gets cut off as his brothers heckle him for listening to their music while sitting on the toilet watching The Office simultaneously.

Taking turns one by one, each Jo Bro calls out thank you's to the other two (with a special shoutout to "bonus Jonas" Frankie). They captioned the February post of the Hollywood Walk of Fame: "There’s quite a few different ways you can say thank you."

Joe hilariously flips through song titles off their newly released album, The Album, in the most ridiculous neon outfit. As he lands on "Wings," he says with the voiceover, "Smash," and smiles.

Sharing this throwback video from four years ago, Nick and Kevin are rotating a table. Joe perfectly times it to walk into the room after they complete this and says in a nerdy voice, "Oh, how the tables have turned." Cue the simultaneous Jo Bro arm-crossing. This was such a corny and adorable way the band announced they were getting back together in 2019.

Posting a photo of a spreadsheet of their songs, the Jo Bros use the hilarious Nicolas Cage/Pedro Pascal meme from the 2022 comedy film, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent to accurately convey the struggle of re-learning all 101 songs (for Nick and Kevin). Meanwhile, they say that Joe will be reading from the teleprompter most nights.

Ever try to get into that zen state of mind, but can't because the voices inside your head are too loud? Well, it's the same for the Jonas Brothers, who hilariously portray that feeling with their song "Wings."

We love our favorite celebrities absolutely losing their s--- when appearing on Hot Ones. The Jo Bros hilariously cut their 2019 episode by zooming in on their faces of pain with the lines "I Feel It" playing over and over from the song "Wings."

Oh boy, the Jonases really went for the most random, hilarious characters using the viral "Super Smash Melee Menu Theme Remix" by Jim Walter. There's Joe "Trucker Hats Are Back Jonas," Kevin "It's Vegan Leather" Jonas, and Nick "I was actually born in Dallas, TX" Jonas."

In probably the most iconic mashup to date, Joe dances and sings along to their song "Waffle House" with Hilary Duff's 2003 song from The Lizzie McGuire Movie, "What Dreams Are Made Of."

The Jonas Brothers "interviewed" staff members of BBC Radio 1. Kevin is stuck on the question: "Is cereal soup?" Meanwhile, Nick has got some good cliches to ponder. While inquisitively humming, Joe asks who is the favorite Jonas Brother.

In this epicly edited video featuring Lil Wayne's "Lollipop," Nick hits a victory pose and inaudibly yells as the Jo Bros celebrate their tour tickets being on sale.

Getting Korean boy band TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) as collaborators for this hilarious video, they bump into Joe. Nick ends up joining TXT's side and says, "And I'm not your brah."
