We're getting a lot of hot tunes this summer, and now there's new music coming from Zayn, Jennifer Lopez, and Olivia Rodrigo. The artists all recently teased on their social media accounts for what's to come. Let's start with Zayn. The singer cleared his Instagram feed in preparation for letting his nearly 50 million followers know he's got something brewing. The first post was made a few days ago, featuring the artist revving a motorcycle. His most recent post, made earlier today (June 29), shows the 30-year-old singer hanging out on the roof of a building. As the camera zooms away, we hear a muffled tease of him singing a new song. One fan commented on the tease, "WHAT ARE U TRYING TO DO KILL US."

Zayn's New Sound

Zayn also shared a pre-save link to his new music on his social media accounts. The artist has given no further information. Per Billboard, Zayn signed a new record deal with Mercury Records. The label said Zayn's debut single is expected to arrive "very soon this summer." Previously signed to RCA Records, sources told the publication that Zayn's move to Mercury marks a change in sound. His new music will mark a major departure from previous hits, like "Pillowtalk" and "I Don’t Wanna Live Forever." As a solo artist, Zayn has released three studio albums: Mind of Mine (2016), Icarus Falls (2018), and Nobody Is Listening (2021).

Jennifer Lopez

As we previously reported, J-Lo announced she would be coming out with new music back in November. At the time, the "Love Don't Cost a Thing" singer said This Is Me…Now is a Ben Affleck-inspired sequel album to her 2002 This Is Me…Then. Lopez, 53, said this album captured the time she was "reunited with the love of my life, and we decided we would be together forever. The whole message of the album then is this love exists."

She previously revealed the tracklist on Instagram at the time. Today, she posted a black-and-white photo of herself smiling with "This Is Me... Now" written behind her. She captioned the post: "Album delivery day." Fans shared their impatience with the new music, commenting things like, "MA’AM WE’VE BEEN READY FOR 7 MONTHS." Another said, "GIRRRRL DROP THAT ALBUM…WE’RE DYING."

Sour To Guts

Olivia Rodrigo has been teasing her upcoming single, "Vampire," with many Twilight-themed aesthetics. A little over two years after her debut Sour album dropped, Rodrigo, 20, revealed that her sophomore album, Guts, will be released on September 8. She shared on Twitter this week that she is "so proud of this record and I can’t wait to share it with you all!" Fans can pre-save the album now.

The news follows the announcement of the album’s first single, “Vampire,” which comes out tomorrow, June 30. The former Disney star teased the music video directed by Petra Collins and drops at midnight ET. Collins previously worked with Rodrigo on "Brutal" and "Good 4 U." Her artistic work as a director of photography is characterized by a feminine, dreamlike feel. Other musical artists Collins has worked with include Cardi B, Selena Gomez, and Carly Rae Jepsen.

Olivia Rodrigo Dubbed Entertainer of the Year: Twitter Reacts

Well "Good 4 U," Olivia Rodrigo. The 18-year-old singer has been named Time Magazine's Entertainer of the Year yesterday (December 9). Her fans congratulated her, but much of Twitter wasn't too happy about the title, with many wondering why it didn't go to Doja Cat, Lil Nas X or Chloe Bailey.

"This year has been absolutely insane and surreal and wonderful in every aspect," Rodrigo says in her Time interview. "It's such a huge honor to be Time's Entertainer of the Year. To be recognized in this way is just a real privilege. I'm very lucky."
