Jennifer Lopez's kids, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, struggle with having such famous parents. Lopez opened up about her 15-year-old twins' lives that they've been experiencing in a recent interview.

Sheshared that twins Max and Emme are feeling the effects of their parents' fame -- and it's "really hard." The 53-year-old singer and actress said, "I think being the child of famous parents is not something many people can understand, and I feel for [my kids] for that because they didn't choose that." Lopez added that her children have recently started to open up to her about how people treat them.

"So when they walk into the room, that's what people are thinking about," she said. "They're not seeing them for who they are. And I think that has to be a really hard thing for them. So, I would love to be able to protect them from that." She admitted that she understands that layer of "being judged by people that you don't even know. I think [it's] really difficult for them to grow up and be themselves."

Mom Guilt

"They know that there's a lens on them, and that's hard," J-Lo continued. "I did that to them, and so again, we have this guilt as moms, what we do, and what we brought into their lives." Earlier this month, Lopez shared the hopes she has for her teenagers with ET, no matter which path they decide to take in life. "You know, I just want them to be whole, healthy, loving beings who stand in their whole truth and unapologetically themselves," she told the publication.

"I try to do that, and I've tried to do that as I got older and grown up a bit," Lopez continued. "And I want them to know what they can accomplish and that they are limitless. That is a real thing. And if you believe that, you will be able to accomplish anything in your life, and I hope that they're getting that from me."

Jennifer Lopez’s 13 Best Songs Of All Time Ranked

Jennifer Lopez has hardly aged since she first emerged on the scene 30 years ago as a dancer on In Living Color. Jenny from the block is living like it's the year 2000, as she and her ex-beau Ben Affleck tied the knot recently, living out all our romantic fantasies in Paris for their honeymoon. Lopez keeps a busy life, still acting in movies such as Marry Me opposite Owen Wilson, Shot Gun Wedding with Josh Duhamel, and The Mother. She is also raising teenage twins Emme and Maximilian.

Below we have ranked the superstar's 13 best songs since 1999. See if your favorite hits made the top of our list!

From her 2002 album, This Is Me... Then, this sample-heavy hip-hop track pays tribute to Lopez's childhood growing up in the Bronx. In a few scenes, J-Lo is topless: on a yacht suntanning with her girls, while wearing a white fur coat, on a yacht again with her then-boyfriend/now-husband Ben Affleck, and in her hotel room. This album had some of the most iconic songs in y2k and we're glad to have been a part of that culture.

4. All I Have (Feat. LL Cool J)

The music video for this mid-tempo R&B and hip-hop ballad has the cutest looks for J-Lo, even though it's about moving on after a breakup. The opening scene takes place in a New York winter wonderland, with Lopez wearing a fur-trimmed baby pink coat and pigtails. In another look, she wears an edgy, graphic liner look. This song is a karaoke favorite to duet with someone and everyone knows the words!

3. Love Don't Cost A Thing

Album: J.Lo (2001) Best line: " All that matter's is that you treat me right / Give me all the things I need that money can't buy

Album: J.Lo (2001) Best line: "Now people lovin' me and hating me, treating me ungratefully / But not knowing that they ain't making or breaking me."
