During Thursday's (February 16) episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, the 53-year-old actor played a round of "Plead the Fifth," where host Cohen tried to get him to shade his co-stars. Opening up the segment, Cohen cheekily revealed that Rudd accidentally "exposed his balls to an entire audience" while starring in a play in London.
In 2019, Rudd appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where he first talked about his first unintentional full-nude scene. "I was lying down on a bed, and I was doing a scene with the lovely actress, Rachel Weiss," Rudd embarrassingly recalled. "We were laying in bed and I was wearing boxer shorts. All of a sudden, the audience started chuckling, and I didn't know why! And I realized I had my leg up and I was totally hanging brain." Rudd then clarified that "Hanging brain is not so much the penis hanging out but more of the testicles."
On this week's WWHL, Cohen prefaced the segment by telling the Wanderlust actor that he can only skip one out of the three questions he had prepared. Wasting no time, Cohen cheekily quipped, "Which of the Marvel superheroes has the lamest powers... and is it Hawkeye?" Rudd laughed at the question regarding Jeremy Renner's arrow-slinging vigilante before agreeing. "Yeah, it's totally [Hawkeye]. I mean, he shoots arrows, come on. And I thought talking to ants was weird!"
Despite the Marvel confession, Rudd has nothing but love for Renner. Rudd recently spoke with ET about Renner recovering from a critical snowplow accident last month. "He's doing alright, he's doing well," Rudd said, sharing he'd talked to the Hawkeye star the day before the interview. Rudd added, "He's the best guy and he's awesome."
Rudd's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania co-star Evangeline Lilly recently said Renner “has recovered like a mo-fo” when she visited him at home. “I walked in his house and got chicken skin, ’cause I was like: ‘Why are you mobile? Why are you mobile? What’s happening?’ I expected to sit at his bedside and hold his hand while he moaned and groaned in pain and wasn’t able to move,” she said.
“He was wheeling himself around, laughing with his friends. It’s a miracle, a straight-up miracle,” the actress said. “He’s made of something really tough, that guy. You’ve always been able to see that in him. He is recovering incredibly and it’s beautiful — I’m so grateful.”
‘Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania’ World Premiere Red Carpet
Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania had its world premiere at Los Angeles' Regency Westwood Theatre on Monday night. Directed by Peyton Reed and produced by Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard, Ant-Man 3 is the 31st film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the first film of Phase Five.
The film sees the return of Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne/Wasp, with Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer reprising their roles as Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne. Kathryn Newton joins the cast as Scott’s now grown-up daughter, Cassie. The film also stars Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror, the chief villain of Marvel’s Phase Five. Majors debuted as a version of that character in the Disney+ series Loki.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania opens in theaters on Feb. 17, 2023.
See the stars hit the red carpet below:
Jasmin Savoy Brown

The 'Yellowjackets' actress wore a cool, pastel green matching outfit. We love how her criss-cross top contrasts with the more structured dress pants.
Folake Olowofoyeku

The 'Bob Hearts Abishola' star looked stunning in her abstract art jacket dress with really cool orange-red block booties.
Kendrick Sampson

The 'Insecure' actor smoldered in this laxed suit with a pop of color in his dusty rose duster.
Gabriel Iglesias

We're not too sure what the design is supposed to be on the comedian's shirt, but whatever it is, it makes the shirt look wrinkly and unkempt.
Ginger Gonzaga

The 'She-Hulk' actress unfortunately chose a type of dress that makes her look way shorter than she is.
Dominique Thorne

The 'Wakanda Forever' actress wore an interesting silhouette at the world premiere. We love how the shoulders cascade down.
David Dastmalchian

The actor, who has played Kurt in the first two Ant-Man films and retuned in this one, wore a really beautiful hue of green at the world premiere.
Kathryn Newton

The actress, who plays Cassandra Lang, looked stunning on the red carpet in this gorgeous mesh and silver gown.
Dylan Michael Douglas, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones

How adorable is this family red carpet photo!? Everyone looks so happy and ravishing.
Bill Murray

Murray plays a character called Lord Krylar in 'Ant-Man 3.' He is described as the “governor of Axia, a bizarre and cushy community within the Quantum Realm.”
Jonathan Majors

We are so excited to see Majors' Kang in the third installment! It's been clarified that he will not be the same Kang that we saw in the 'Loki' series.
Evangeline Lilly

The "wasp" looked more like a flower in this super feminine mint green gown topped with a feathery shawl.
Paul Rudd

Ant-Man just gets better with age. We love the energy Paul Rudd gives us time and again, and we're sure he will surpass our expectations in the third installment.
