Rihanna's Super Bowl halftime show left pregnant women with one thing on their minds -- work, work, work, work, workout! Searches for “pregnant workouts” spiked after the "Love On The Brain" singer's performance, where she revealed her "special guest" via her baby bump and sent social media into a frenzy.

New data obtained by fitness website Total Shape shows Google searches for workouts while with child were inspired by the singer's pregnant-friendly moves while performing. Searches for "pregnant workouts" soared by 285%, while “abdominal exercise” rose by 177% and “pregnant gym” skyrocketed by 300%.

Even if you're not performing for the masses, it is totally safe to exercise while pregnant if done correctly, Total Shape advised. “It can help to reduce backaches and swelling, boost your energy levels and prevent excessive weight gain as your body changes to accommodate your little one,” the fitness experts said. However, even if you are active, it’s important not to overdo it.

“If you’re not a regular exerciser, avoid suddenly taking up strenuous activities,” Total Shape cautioned. “Workouts don’t have to be intense or demanding to be beneficial. In fact, some of the best activities for expectant mothers include swimming, as the water works to support your weight, and long walks.”

Health experts also suggest warming up before workouts and cooling down afterward and keeping hydrated, all good practices for anyone whether pregnant or not. “Avoid any activities that have a risk of falling, such as gymnastics and cycling,” they advised, listing swimming, walking and low-impact aerobics as their top three suggestions for pregnant workouts. “Also, don’t lie on your back for extended periods of time when working out as this can cause you to feel faint,” they continued. “[And] make sure to take breaks if you start to feel woozy.”

Rihanna owned the stage during her Super Bowl Halftime performance on Sunday (Feb. 12). The Grammy-winning singer performed a medley of 12 of her biggest hits. She opened with "Bitch Better Have My Money" and ended with her 2012 hit "Diamonds."

What shocked fans more than the excitement of seeing Rihanna perform live since her Anti World Tour in 2016 was that it was confirmed she is having a second child with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky. The couple welcomed their son back in May.
