Megan Fox hinted at a breakup between herself and Machine Gun Kelly on Sunday (February 12). Fox, 36, uploaded a post on her Instagram (which has since been deleted) with lyrics from Beyoncé's "Pray You Catch Me."

The lyrics the actress included insinuated infidelity: "You can taste the dishonesty/ it's all over your breath." The post included photos of herself and a video of an envelope being burned in a fire pit. Prior to removing her Instagram completely, Fox deleted all photos and videos of herself and MGK, including a post announcing their engagement in January 2022. Meanwhile, Kelly still has posts featuring Fox on his profile. To add fuel to the breakup fire, Fox followed Eminem, who has publicly feuded with the "bloody valentine" singer for years. She also followed Harry Styles and Timothee Chalamet.

Fans flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts on Fox's post. One user said, "the fact that THE megan fox can be on her knees for you, head over heels for you… and you still cheat?? straight to jail." Eagle-eyed fans noticed in one of the photos Fox posted of being in a bathroom, there was a poster that read: "When you can't walk away."

One fan said, "making fun of megan fox while clearly she’s going thru something just shows me you hate women. god forbid a woman have emotions and show those emotions as she goes through something that’s clearly heartbreaking enough for her to delete her instagram." Another wrote, "So sad to see mgk getting dragged for cheating on Megan fox when he deserves to be dragged for being a terrible musician." Another fan mocked MGK by writing, "MEGAN FOX FINALLY DUMPED THAT SLENDER MAN COPYCAT PINK HAIRED NAKED MOLE RAT OH SHE’S FREE!!!!!!"

The pair met on the set of the thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass in March 2020. Fox later appeared as Kelly's love interest in his music video for "Bloody Valentine." By July, the couple had confirmed their relationship when they gave their first joint interview, where Fox called Kelly her "twin flame."

After more than a year of dating, Kelly proposed to Fox in early 2022. The couple announced their engagement with separate Instagram posts, sharing videos and photos from their proposal in front of a banyan tree they'd first sat under in July 2020. Fox reflected on their romance in her caption, writing, "Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes…and then we drank each other's blood."

Kelly also shared a video of the emerald and diamond engagement ring he gave Fox, writing, "I know tradition is one ring, but i designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love. 1-11-2022."

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly Engagement: Fans React

Megan Fox, 35, and Machine Gun Kelly, 31, shared their engagement yesterday (January 12), via their respective Instagrams and fans went wild.

Fox shared a video of their proposal with multiple camera angles, making fans wonder how that was possible. What threw people off even more was her caption, which read:

"In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree

We asked for magic

We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time.
Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.

Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.

And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.

…and then we drank each other’s blood
