Paris Hilton Cried Seeing ‘Angel’ Britney Spears Walk Down The Aisle
The friendship between Paris Hilton and Britney Spears runs so deep that Paris was driven to tears in a recent interview.
“It was a magical fairytale,” Hilton reminisced to E! News on Tuesday (June 28) about Britney’s wedding to Sam Asghari earlier this month. “I’m so happy for her. She’s like an angel. And it was just an iconic night with so many incredibly powerful women and we had the most epic night ever.”
The entire night felt like a dream come true to Paris, saying, “Just seeing her walk down the aisle in the dress, I was crying. It was just so beautiful and romantic and just seeing sparkles and happiness in her eyes. And just seeing my Brit back and just in love and just the whole thing.”
“She’s one of the kindest people in the world and is such an angel,” the 41-year-old heiress shared about Britney. In reference to the glitz and glam of Hollywood, Paris added, “She is not like any of the people in this town. She means a lot to me.”
The Simple Life star recalled having fun singing saying, “We sang ‘Stars are Blind,’ me and Selena [Gomez], to Britney, and then my mom took the mic and she started singing like the rest of it and it was so good. That was iconic.”
As for hanging out with her “idol” since she was a little girl, Madonna, Paris noted, “It was so cool.”
Britney’s personal trainer and actor husband said in a new interview with Good Morning America that their intimate wedding was “a fairy tale” and marriage has been “surreal.”
The up-and-coming actor is starring in the film Hot Seat, in which he plays a SWAT team officer alongside Mel Gibson, Shannen Doherty and Kevin Dillon. The movie hits theaters on July 1.
