Kim Kardashian Reveals Pete Davidson’s ‘BDE’ Inspired Her To Reach Out

Kim Kardashian knew exactly what she wanted from Pete Davidson after they locked lips in their October 2021 Saturday Night Live skit -- and that was his "BDE."

In the June 2 episode of The Kardashians, Kim finally revealed what went down after she and Pete met saying, "I did SNL, and then when we kissed in-scene, it was just a vibe," Kim said. "I was like 'Oh s---, maybe I've been...maybe I just need to try something different.' But Pete does not come to my after-party. Everyone was at my after-party. He does not give me the time of day."

"A few days later, I called the producer at SNL and I was like 'Hey do you have Pete's number?'" Kim recalled. "They were like 'Yeah!' and I text him. I wasn't even thinking like 'Oh my god I'm gonna be in a relationship with him.' I was just thinking...I heard about this BDE. I need to get out there. I need to just, like, jump start my...I was just basically DTF."

The two were seen holding hands in public a few weeks later and they have been going strong since. In the episode, Kim explained why she was initially hesitant to share details about her relationship with Pete—especially on her reality show. "I just feel like I wanted to really make sure and not be like 'Oh my god, I met someone and I'm having fun' and then just like start talking about it on a show," Kim revealed. "Then if we weren't talking months later I'd be an idiot. Or a whore, either one."

While talking to her sisters about their romance, Kardashian said it might be easy to assume that a relationship with the former SNL star is "a hysterical comedy show at all times." But, in reality, their relationship is "just normal."

"I never knew you can be just so happy watching TV series and going to the gym [with] someone I thought had never even gone to the gym or been to the gym before," she said, later adding, "Pete has got to be literally the best human being I've ever met, like the best heart. People always say, 'Oh, he's so funny.' ... That's like, fourth on my list of why I like him. Always wants the best for people, can handle anything, always does it with grace. He's really, really thoughtful, and humble, and just so genuine. I would say the perfect word to describe Pete is genuine."

Being with Davidson has allowed Kardashian to embrace her natural self. "I actually don't care if I go out like this and have no makeup on," she continued. "It's the most refreshing feeling."

And of Davidson's BDE, Kim shared, "When I turned 40, everyone said it's the best sex of your life. Grandma kept on telling me, '40s, the best sex' and I'm like, 'Okay, I'm ready!' And so far, [clicks tongue]."

The episode ended with Kim being delivered a gift from Pete, though we never find out what it is. "Oh my god!" Kim exclaimed. "Shut up, these are my favorite!"

As the Kardashian-Jenner women gear up for their new series, The Kardashians, to debut on Disney+ next Thursday, April 14, they had an intimate gathering at Goya Studios in Los Angeles to watch the first episode from the upcoming series. In attendance were longtime friends, Jonathan Cheban, Malika Haqq and Anastasia Karanikolaou, even though Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner were noticeably absent. Kourtney's ex and father of their three children, Scott Disick, 38, showed up with his new girlfriend, Rebecca Donaldson, 27. Kourtney's beau Travis Barker brought his kids along to the premiere and Kim's boyfriend Pete Davidson attended the event!
