Julia Fox: Kanye West’s Outbursts Are ‘Artistic Expression,’ Poses No Danger To Kim Or Pete
Kanye West’s former girlfriend Julia Fox said that she believes the rapper’s repeated outbursts against Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend Pete Davidson are “harmless.” West has continually used his Instagram account to publicly criticize Davidson, 28, since he began dating West’s estranged wife last year.
The Uncut Gems actor was asked by a TMZ reporter yesterday (March 16) whether Pete and Kim should be worried for their safety; she said they should not. She added, “Kanye’s harmless.”
Fox defended West’s threats against Davidson as “his artistic, creative expression,” adding, “I know it’s aggressive but, if it really came down to it, I don’t think Kanye would hurt a fly.”
As we recently reported, Kanye, 44, was suspended from Instagram yesterday for violating the social site’s policies on hate speech, harassment and bullying. For 24 hours, Ye won’t be able to post, comment, send DM’s, among other things. A spokesperson for Instagram said they “will take additional steps if further violations happen.”
Yesterday, Ye took to Instagram and used a racial slur against Trevor Noah after he weighed in on the ongoing drama between the rapper, Kardashian and Davidson. “All in together now… K— baya my lord k— baya my lord K— baya Oooo’ lord K— baya,” Ye wrote mocking the comedian using racial slurs.
Noah shared a story about his own mother getting shot by his stepfather and how society should be looking into the Kanye/Kim/Pete situation as harassment and not entertainment. He added, “Do we wish to stand by and watch a car crash when we thought we saw it coming?”
Calling out Davidson recently in an Instagram rant, Kanye said, “The devil ain’t gon’ win. This is gaslighting. Kim gets Black people out of prison. You know who puts Black people in prison? The person that the boyfriend has a tattoo of: Hilary [Clinton]. Do you understand the set up right here? Do you understand the narrative, right here?”
Apparently, the Saturday Night Live comedian sent texts to Kanye — including a selfie that Pete seemingly took from Kim’s bed. If you look closely, it looked like he got “Kim” tattooed on his chest, but it turns out he branded her name on him. On a new episode of Ellen, Kim said Pete chose to make it permanent “like a scar” so he couldn’t ever have it removed like regular tattoos. Pete apparently has two other tributes to her on his body, including one tattoo that reads, “My girl is a lawyer.”
