Dolly Parton, Kelly Clarkson Will Team Up For ‘9 to 5’ Duet
Kelly Clarkson and Dolly Parton are teaming up for a duet of Dolly’s 1980 song “9 to 5” which was featured in the movie with the same name starring Parton, Jane Fonda, and Lily Tomlin. The new version is going to be a part of the documentary about the film.
According to EW, “Still Working 9 to 5” will chronicle the lasting impact of the 1980 Parton, Jane Fonda, and Lily Tomlin workplace comedy. The duet from Dolly and Kelly was previously covered for a 2019 promotional video tied to the launch of The Kelly Clarkson Show.
9 to 5 was released 42 years ago and grossed over $100 million at the box office before the title track scored an Oscar nomination for Best Original Song.
