Cumberland County Library Clearance Book Sale Set for Oct. 11-23
The Cumberland County Public Library is bringing back one of its most popular annual events, as the Overstock Clearance Book Sale is set for October 11-23, 2021.
The program, run by the Friends of the Cumberland County Public Library, will be a little different this year, as anyone interested in attending will need to make an appointment.
Members of Friends of the Cumberland County Public Library will have an opportunity to shop by appointment from Oct. 11 – 16. Appointments will be available for non-members Oct. 18 – 23. For both groups, appointments will be 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. each day.
To make an appointment or ask a question, call (910) 483-7727 ext. 1326 and leave a message. A volunteer will return your phone call. Appointments can be scheduled starting today.
Books of all types will be available in the sale, which will take place at the Cumberland County Public Library Headquarters Building at 300 Maiden Lane in Downtown Fayetteville.
Visitors are encouraged to bring their own bag or box to transport their book purchases in.
