The much-hyped Clive Davis-produced concert taking place on New York's Great Lawn has just been officially announced. Live Nation wrote on their Instagram, "New York City… we're BACK! It's time to celebrate with a once in a lifetime concert event! We Love NYC: The Homecoming Concert brings an all-star lineup of performers to the Great Lawn in Central Park on Saturday, August 21. Tickets available Monday, August 2 at 10am."

Taking place from August 14-22, NYC Homecoming Week featuring live concerts, free movie screenings, cultural activities, public art and more. This five-borough week of events will drive support for the mom-and-pop businesses.

As a celebration of New York City’s comeback, the concert will promote health, safety, and equity. Eighty percent of We Love NYC: The Homecoming Concert tickets will be available for free. For ticketholders, proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required for entry. Given the outdoor setting and vaccination requirement, masks will be optional.

“This is going to be a historic, monumental moment for all New Yorkers and all Americans. I’ll put it plainly: You’re going to want to be here. This is truly once in a lifetime and we thank Clive Davis, Live Nation and Danny Meyer for all their efforts to help make this possible,” said Mayor de Blasio. “This is a celebration of our city, of every working family who faced incredible challenges last year and overcame. This is a celebration for you.”
