Billie Eilish's fans are getting upset with the singer over what they perceive as queerbaiting with her latest Instagram posts

The hashtag "#youlikegirls" was trending yesterday evening (June 13) on Twitter with a lot of hostile folks up analyzing Billie's recent social media activity and love life. Many even went as far as saying they were done with her and her music because they consider her problematic.

Per gossip web site TMZ, 19-year-old Billie has recently been romantically linked to actor Matthew Tyler Vorce, who she's been seen out with on what some people presumed were dates, with people assuming he's her boyfriend. Fans speculated that Billie might have been on the LGBTQ+ "spectrum," fueled more so by her latest music video to "Lost Cause," which they say sends mixed signals.

The video shows a slumber party theme with a bunch of women, but apparently, fans see this as Billie dancing in a "suggestive fashion with other women."

The "Wish You Were Gay" singer posted a series of follow-up photos from the music video with the caption, "i love girls," which fueled their conspiracies of her sexuality. Some took that as Billie toying with her fans and assuming her sexuality (which many have called counterproductive/harmfully misleading). The post below, is taken as an insult by fans to Pride month due to her apparent relationship with a man is causing uproar online.

Under her "i love girls" post, the comments section ran wild, with many users freaking out, "WHATS HAPPENING?! PLS NORMALIZE CONTEXT BABE."

Another wrote, "BRO IS SHE SAYING WHAT I THINK SHES SAYING."

One user said, "if you say you straight after this ISTG 😭"

"bestie is this a 'i love girls 💞' or 'i love girls 🏳️‍🌈' 😩," wrote another.

"So is this gay or queer baiting?" asked another.

Eilish has not yet addressed these fans.
