Pete Davidson really laid it on to Chrissy Teigen on this week’s Saturday Night Live episode during the Weekend Update segment.

Davidson took aim at Teigen on the show's Season 46 finale, regarding her cyberbullying scandal where she told Courtney Stodden to kill herself. As a result, Teigen's cookware line was dropped by three major department stores. Stodden recently revealed how severe Teigen's cyberbullying was on social media. Stodden said Teigen “wouldn’t just publicly tweet about wanting me to take ‘a dirt nap’ but would privately DM me and tell me to kill myself. Things like, ‘I can’t wait for you to die.’”

“If there’s one good thing about the pandemic, besides getting Chrissy Teigen out of our lives, it’s...,” the 27-year-old kicked off his appearance on the segment. The audience reacted with some cheers, but also some boos, which Davidson reacted to by shrugging and added with a smile, “I’m relieved.”

Davidson appeared on the Weekend Update as himself, as correspondence for fully-vaccinated folks able to go fully mask-less. Davidson said he was actually excited that we had to wear masks so that people wouldn't recognize him, "but it didn't work because everyone can still recognize me from my eyes! You see someone who looks like he just woke up and hasn't slept in days, it's me!"

35-year-old Teigen, who has 34.8 million Instagram followers and 13.6 million Twitter followers, has been noticeably absent from all social media since she apologized to Courtney Stodden on May 12. Stodden said that she accepted Teigen’s Twitter apology and forgave her, “But, the truth remains the same, I have never heard from her or her camp in private. In fact, she blocked me on Twitter.” They add, “All of me wants to believe this is a sincere apology, but it feels like a public attempt to save her partnerships with Target and other brands who are realizing her ‘wokeness’ is a broken record.”
