Chris D’Elia Accused Of Soliciting Child Pornography In New Lawsuit
A civil suit filed on Tuesday accuses comedian Chris D’Elia of child sexual exploitation and violation of child pornography laws. A spokesperson for D’Elia said, “Chris denies these allegations and will vigorously defend against them in court.”
The suit was filed on behalf of a Jane Doe, who says she was a 17-year-old high school student when she connected with D’Elia after she direct messaged him on Instagram in 2014, when he was 34. Her statement says D’Elia knew she was underage, even commenting on a photo on her Instagram where she dressed for “spirit day” at school. In the background were other students walking in the hallway, several of whom were similarly dressed up for Spirit Day.

The comedian invited her to one of his shows a show at Connecticut’s Foxwoods Resort Casino, after soliciting and receiving 5-10 sexually explicit images. The complaint says he engaged in sexual activities with her before and after going on stage, Deadline reports.
During sex, D’Elia asked Doe several times to tell him how old she was. When she told him she was 17-years-old, he responded that the fact that she was only 17 was “hot,” as filed in the suit.
After 2015, Doe allegedly ceased most contact after the constant pressure from D’Elia became increasingly unbearable and blocked him on Snapchat in 2017.
She is seeking unspecified compensatory and punitive damages and revoking possession or taking any action with the photos he has of her.
