Bruce Springsteen, The Cars and Journey are among a shortlist of artists whose recordings have been added to the Grammy Hall of Fame.
The Recording Academy announced today (December 21) the 29 new titles, which include both albums and singles, added to their Grammy Hall of Fame. Among those 29 titles are Springsteen's 1973 debut album Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J., The Cars's self-titled 1978 debut album and Journey's iconic single "Don't Stop Believin'."
Per the Recording Academy, recordings added to the Grammy Hall of Fame are "at least 25 years old that exhibit qualitative or historical significance."
Other artists represented in this year's list of Grammy Hall of Fame inductees include Pearl Jam, Beastie Boys, Linda Ronstadt, Issac Hayes, Dr. John and many more. The full list of 2021 Grammy Hall of Fame Inductees is listed below.
