The coronavirus halted a ton of plans for musicians all over the world; Adam Lambert recently revealed that it also derailed plans that he and Christina Aguilera had.
Over the weekend, a Christina Aguilera fan account tweeted out a fun fact that Adam Lambert originally recorded a demo of Christina Aguilera's song "Just a Fool." They wrote, "So before 'just a fool' got to @xtina, @adamlambert wanted it & recorded a demo. He sounds so good, this was a perfect opportunity to have them collab. Xtina & Adam can still go LIVE on IG and sing to make up for this opportunity. 'Just A Fool' is still iconic." They also added a clip of songwriter Claude Kelly listening to Adam's version of it.
Adam Lambert saw the tweet and replied to it with a huge announcement: that he was actually planning on touring with Christina over the summer. "You know what’s funny?" Adam said. "There was a whole plan to tour w @xtina this summer around the US. Big venues too! But unfortunately everything went into Lock Down before we were ready to announce. Y’all know I’m an OG Christina Aguilera fan. waiting time see if we can reschedule it!"
And of course, his and her fans both freaked out.
