Jimmy Fallon and the Roots Perform ‘Safety Dance’ For ‘Together At Home’ Broadcast
Jimmy Fallon may have shared hosting duties with Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel during One World: Together At Home, but he was still able to have fun with his Tonight Show house band, The Roots.
Fallon and The Roots performed a “Classroom Instrument” version of Men Without Hats’ ’80s hit “Safety Dance” with the help of a number of medical professionals. They even altered the lyrics to reflect our current battle against COVID-19 by singing, “We can dance/We can dance/Everybody’s washing their hands.”
Enjoy the performance in the video below, and perhaps dance around to it, too. Maybe go wash your hands afterward. Might as well, right?
