‘Hop In The Park’ Becomes ‘Hop At Home’ This Year – Register For Your Kit
Epicenter Church is well known for its annual “Hop In The Park” event for Easter each year. The Festival Park gathering draws thousands of children and families.
But with the coronavirus stay-at-home orders in effect this year, the church has announced it will be rebranding with a new concept for this Easter, “Hop At Home.”
“We can’t do Hop in the Park together, so we’re bringing Hop to your home,” the church said on its new Eventbrite post. “Pick up a ready to go kit to celebrate Easter with your family!”
Kits will be available on Thursday, April 9, but you have to reserve a kit by heading to the Eventbrite page and registering.
The post from Epicenter Church:
When the coronavirus pandemic forced us to cancel Hop in the Park this year, we were really bummed. But then we started thinking, what can we do to bring some of that same Easter excitement and joy to families while they observe Governor Cooper’s Stay Home Order and Mayor Colvin’s curfew? And that’s how Hop at Home was born!
While we’re still finalizing the details, our goal for Hop at Home is to provide people with a ready-to-go kit to celebrate Easter at home with their immediate families. This kit will include easter eggs, candy, crayons and coloring pages (look for details about our coloring contest) and some other cool surprises.
Kits must be picked up from Epicenter Church on Thursday, April 9th. If you would like to reserve a kit, just register for this event and we will contact you with more details. Thank you so much, and Happy Easter!
