DAILY UPDATE: Cumberland County Now Up to 42 Positive COVID-19 Cases
From Cumberland County:
In the last 24 hours, eight new COVID-19 cases have been reported by the Cumberland County Department of Public Health, bringing the total number of positive test results in Cumberland County to 42. Since Monday, the number of cases has risen by 24.
“This is the first weekend under the Governor’s Stay at Home Order. While it may be tempting to spend the weekend outdoors, we need all residents to do their part to slow the spread. Stay home unless you are an essential employee, or you are seeking healthcare, food, or other essential services,” said Cumberland County Public Health Director Dr. Jennifer Green.
Demographic data for cases is available on the County’s COVID-19 webpage at co.cumberland.nc.us/covid19. The information will be updated each evening before 6 p.m. on the website. The age for one case is unknown.
