As the worry over the Coronavirus spreads, many artists are canceling and changing shows as a safety precaution. Sam Smith hasn't yet done this, but Smith is showing concern about how it can affect upcoming tour dates.

During a recent interview before headlining a show at Sydney's Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, the singer discussed their fears. "I literally just texted mum saying, 'I'm really scared about the Coronavirus.' I'm scared,' Sam said, according to The Daily Mail. Sam also said,  "Yeah, but I've got to go back to Europe and I'm hearing that it is going nuts. Are you kidding me? I don't like it."

While talking about Coronavirus, Sam also let it slip that a tour is on the way. " [I'm touring] This year at some point..," Sam said, looking over at their publicist. He lastly added,  "Yeah. I don't know if I'm allowed to say that, but it's obvious."
