An early morning crash in North Carolina left nearly a dozen people injured.

The crash occurred on Highway 421 in Wilkes County at around 6 a.m. this morning and involved multiple vehicles.

According to to WFMY News 2, the three vehicles involved in the accident were Tyson transport vans.

In total, 11 people were taken to an area hospital for treatment.

At this time their conditions are not known.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
