Vanessa Hudgens Is NOT Engaged…But We’re Not Convinced
Vanessa Hudgens and her boyfriend, Austin Butler, have been dating since 2011. The two make an adorable couple, as seen here:
But when Hudgens took to social media to post a selfie recently, her fans instantly zeroed in on a ring she was sporting on *that* finger and speculated about whether the performer and Butler were now engaged.
The shot features Vanessa Hudgens donning a short bob, wearing a fur coat, and smiling into a mirror. It was captioned, “and then THIS happened” with a few scissor emojis, which seemed to indicate a dramatic haircut. And yet, commenters zeroed in on the star’s ring finger, wondering if there was more to the caption than just the new look.
In fact, the rumors swirled so intensely that Hudgens had to clarify a few things about the photo. She explained that she “threw the ring” on that finger after a long day of shooting, and truly did post the picture solely to highlight her new hair.
