‘The Lion King’ Screen Test Skit On ‘SNL’ Is Comedic Gold

Every once in a while, ‘Saturday Night Live’ knocked it out of the park.
Taking playful jabs at Lin-Manuel Miranda, Cardi B & Offset, Oprah, Eminem, and more, it seems like almost every performer nailed their slot. Seriously, how does Keenan Thompson not look like LL Cool J and still ace it? And can we talk about that Celine Dion?
The big part of why this was probably brought up as a skit was that it was reported that Migos wanted to be on ‘The Lion King’ as the hyenas, so we’re guessing that’s why Cardi & Offset were brought into the mix.
