There’s Going To Be A TV Remake Of ‘Hocus Pocus’
… And people are really not happy about it.
I’m sure by now you’ve heard the rumors swell. First, the internet thought it was a movie, and they were excited at the prospect of getting the Sanderson Sisters back together for an advanced version of the story.
Then the rumor came out – Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy would not be included in this remake for the Disney Channel.
Sources like Vanity Fair have noted that a new cast and director would be involved, and being that it is for the Disney Channel, it’s safe to say that these top-billed actors wouldn’t be involved because of the lack of pay.
Needless to say, whatever the reason, the world is speaking up.
