Let's face it - the world is kind of a mess lately.

There's flooding, there's a lot of chaos in the news, and left and right, people are getting offended by LITERALLY EVERYTHING.

So rather than focus on that, it's time to focus on some good stuff. Here are 10 great things we can pay attention to, in which you can have a Positive Mental Attitude about:

Amazon Lowers Whole Foods Pricing 43% On The First Day Of Service

You may not be a Whole Foods shopper, and you may have even laughed at the joke of Taylor Swift's dance squad in "Look What You Made Me Do" looking like a "Whole Foods, Gluten Free Beyonce" Version, but here's the gist: Since Amazon bought Whole Foods, they promised to lower prices. Well, they did deliver, with the first full day, they dropped the pricing in the stores from Bananas to Fish, to Eggs, and even Avocados that Millenials are putting on Toast. Though this may not be a triumphant thing for you if you're not, let's say, a Detroiter within walking distance of a Whole Foods, let's chalk it up to a corporation ACTUALLY DOING WHAT THEY PROMISED.

People Who Aren't Leaving Their Animals Behind During Hurricane Harvey

This one may seem like a sad one, but hear me out. According to the ASPCA, approximately 6.5 million animals enter shelters in the U.S., and some end up being euthanized because the shelters are too full. The fact that people are creating full galleries on the people who have lost their homes but are still making sure their animals are safe, are taking them with them, AS A FAMILY, instead of being selfish humans and leaving them behind leaves some faith that there is some goodness left in this world.

Corporate America Starting To Realize Body Positivity Is NEEDED In The Industry

Of course, Lane Bryant has always been pretty supportive of the every woman, but the fact that Jessamyn Stanley has been able to be successful with her book  "Every Body Yoga," and promote body positivism in her Instagram, that is something we can all celebrate. She doesn't smooth herself out, she doesn't photoshop herself and continues to show off a healthy choice that she makes every day while not overdoing it. That is strength!

Exes Who Don't Hate Each Other

Though some say that you can't be friends with an ex, I'm living proof that it can be done. One of my first boyfriends is on the road to being married, and I'm in a happy relationship, and we can even work together in freelance partnership from time to time. We still care about each other, and that's a great thing! Though I don't know the personal encompassment of Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney, while Gaga headlined Wrigley as the first female to ever do so in Chicago, Taylor showed up to the show in support of his former fiance, as well as showing up to her Super Bowl gig. Though we can totally ship them getting back together, it's great to see that he can still publicly support her without getting skewered, and I'm sure she's probably pretty thankful for the support too.

That Someone Can Come Back From Suicidal Thoughts And Live Their Best Life

This story from BuzzFeed is spectacular. Kevin Walsh was in the process of making the call to end his life as a teen when a girl who he met at camp at 13 called him on the phone. He said he was 5 to 10 seconds away from the final choice, and she said: "She just felt like she needed to call him." They, of course, ended up together, and he proposed to her 10 years later. Further proof that it does get better, things can get better, and talking things out may save your life.

When You Find Something So Relatable You Say "OH WOW IT ME"

The lack of the apostrophe is an important internet code. If you're like me, sometimes you find something SO RELATABLE, you can't help but wonder why you weren't at-tagged. So when someone shares something like this, with a caption like "Me Vs. Other Morning People," you can't help but agree and re-share. For that moment, we all agree on something, and that's awesome.

It's (Finally) Becoming Cool To Be Nerdy And Give In To Your Fandoms

As a person who has an entire nerd sleeve of tattoos brewing, I know better than most how cool it is to now own your fandoms. I wear a TARDIS necklace, sometimes a Time Turner, and I have 2 Harry Potter tattoos, as well as a Jack Sparrow Sparrow! I'm constantly being stopped for my obscure references inked to my skin. Comic Con's are raging, and there's even anime cons, 'Game Of Thrones' cons, and more. It's not just Trekkies anymore, we're all able to go out and live our nerd lives with people who love nerding together. Plus, most of these cons make sure to let people know that A. Dressing in cosplay (costumes) for con is not consent to be touched/harrassed, and B. Some people like Introverts or Introverts disguised as Extroverts can get overwhelmed and may need some time to digest, as they sit away from people for 90% of their lives and then go to con. That kind of acceptance is pretty doggone great.

Essentially... Booze Slurpees

From Disney Springs' Wine Slush to the pop-up bar in Chicago that is serving a Stranger Things cocktail named "Elevens Eggos," the fact that you can get blended booze in multiple places is really making us love life a little more. #DrinkResponsibly

Celebrities Not Acting Like They Are Perfect

Let's be honest here: My gears are never more grinded than celebrities who act like they've got their stuff figured out. Nobody is well put together. Ever. Not only are more celebrities speaking out on depression, anxiety, issues that plague them, they are making us feel like we're more normal, versus the airbrushed models of the early 2000's who acted like THAT'S WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE IRL.

People Like This Guy

Same goes with everyday individuals speaking out on great things. This is a random citizen, wearing a mask, just trying to bring a smile to people's faces. He wasn't asking for cash. Just telling you that he sees greatness in you. I think everyone needs a little more of that, and a little less hate.

Amy Cooper is one with the force and the force is with her.
