There's a new app for Coldplay -- in collaboration with another celebrated music figure.

The group has teamed with producer/artist Brian Eno (David Bowie, U2, Roxy Music, etc.) to create Coldplay: Hypnotised, a mobile app that enhances the sound of its latest single, "Hypnotised," generating a new melody for the song built off the song's piano riff.

Coldplay writes in a social media message, "Our great friends Brian Eno and Peter Chilvers have created a beautiful app for the song Hypnotised...The app has two purposes; first, if you're going to one of our shows, please play the app when we play the song Hypnotised -- it will sound magical. Second, wherever you happen to be, the app will work really well while the song Hypnotised is playing on another device."

"Hypnotised" is featured on Coldplay's new EP, Kaleidoscope, which comes out later this week. The group is currently on tour in Europe and begins another North American tour on August 1.
