Different Ways You Can Enjoy National Chocolate Ice Cream Day
Who says you can only celebrate National Chocolate Ice Cream Day with a scoop of chocolate ice cream?
We don’t mean adding an extra scoop, we’re talking about getting the full-fledged, sweetest chocolate ice cream experience.
Chocolate is the second most common flavor in the United States according to National Day Calendar. We’ll have to congratulate Vanilla for taking first place, but we can’t say one is better than the other. After all, chocolate and vanilla belong together just like cheese and wine!
Chocolate lovers, we have everything you need to make your chocolatey dreams come true as we celebrate one of the most popular ice cream flavors of all time!

Get yourself a couple scoops of chocolate ice cream, but make it a sundae in a cone or cup with all the works. Add your sprinkles, hot fudge, whip cream, walnuts, and fruit. But don’t stop there, maybe dress your ice cream in some caramel or white chocolate.
Had enough of the typical? Try a chocolate ice cream cookie sandwich. Bake some chocolate chip or double chocolate chip cookies from scratch or buy some from the store already made. (Your cookies need to have some kind of chocolate in them. We are trying to overwhelm with chocolate!) Take a scoop of chocolate ice cream and place it between both cookies. And voila! There you have it!
Have you ever considered a salted caramel brownie ice cream cake? Think about it- layers of rich brownie filled with toffee, salted caramel, dark chocolate truffles, chocolate ice cream, and whipped cream topped with drizzles of chocolate syrup and more salted caramel. Were you thinking ‘death by chocolate?’ We were!
And lastly, a choco taco! Tacos have transformed to not only include chicken and beef but also fish and shrimp with spices from all over the globe. Why can’t there be such a thing as a chocolate-covered taco filled with all things chocolate?! If you want an even sweeter fix, make your taco shell out of a hardened waffle cone. Dip it in melted chocolate and fill it up with chocolate ice cream, whipped cream, and strawberries. Mix in some chocolate chips, too!
We hope we’ve persuaded you to realize that a single scoop of chocolate ice cream just won’t cut it.
National Chocolate Ice Cream Day is celebrated on June 7. How will you be doing chocolate ice cream this year?
