First heard in his movie, Purple Rain, the song was directed towards Apollonia Kotero’s character. The song starts blaring as soon as she decides to sign with his rival, Morris Day. This is one of those tunes that you can have on repeat and will never get sick of the song.

“The Beautiful Ones” definitely shows off Prince’s singing abilities. Just saying, we think this would be an unreal karaoke song.


3. Trust

I can't say I was into Prince, yet I can't deny how obsessed I was with this song. I am sure his friends, family and true fans well miss him; I will forever remember him as I re-watch Tim Burton's Batman.

We feel like this song does not get enough credit. Best known for being a part of the 1989 Batman soundtrack, we can only think of Jack Nicholson making it rain.
